I'm Nikolai Høj — machinist, entrepreneur, and maker based in Randers, Denmark. For two decades I've made my living cutting metal. These days I'm shop floor supervisor at Ravnsgaard Metal — a one-stop shop for everything manufacturing: precision machined parts, welded constructions, cast iron parts, for industry. We do it all.
The software I build for the shop floor is how I keep pushing both. Off the clock I'm into CAM/CAD, LLMs, homelab and self-hosting, music production, 3D printing, gaming, and anything with an internal combustion engine.
